Blacksmithing again. Rigged out a carriage part and set three sets of tires. Got awful tired.

Blacksmithing again. Quit at nine o’clock and attended Mrs. Babcock’s funeral. Set tires, two sets. Wrote a letter to darling Sara.
Blacksmithing again. My helper came today. I kept him cutting threads most all day. I’ve begun on a batch of tires. Went to a lecture by Carlton. Chanced to pick up L. Clifford and went with her.
Blacksmithing again. Till three o’clock I was alone in my room. My [?] was off on account of the decorating day which we celebrated in the afternoon. Had a splendid time. The Lodge met after the Post got through with the hall, which they did about half past eight. Got a letter from Sara darling.
Blacksmithing again. Worked all day at the fire making clasps, yokes, etc. Went to hang a May basket in the eve but didn’t make out.
Blacksmithing. Jobed and made clasps for a big ice wagon which we are getting up. Met to sing with about twelve others for decoration day. Also rehearsed for the choir.
Blacksmithing again. Bolted off tires and fixed up carriage parts. Went to a lecture in the eve and also wrote a letter to my Sara.
