Went to all three services and feel better for it. I am reading “Over the Clifts” and like it very much. Wrote a letter to Father. Good night.

Blacksmithing again, worked on an old express today and made some clasps and fitted them and did most every thing else.
Blacksmithing again, ironed a wheelbarrow and began on an old express wagon. Wrote a letter to Sara, it has been a disagreeable day.
Blacksmithing again, ironed a portable top. Went [to] Mrs Wiggins in the eve. Recit a letter from Lydia. I heard the band play and then went to bed.
Blacksmithing again. I felt better this morning and thought I’d try work and I feel better still tonight. I drilled a set of wheels and then went to work on a portable top.
Layed up to day, don’t know as I shall work tomorrow or not, if I don’t I guess I shall go home.
Went to all the services including the conferance [sic]. Mr. Folsem preached. I wrote a letter to Simon and one to Mother and sent two papers one to Mary Pierce and to Susie Haynes.
