Blacksmithing again, set nine tires.  Mr Daniels set nine more.  I worked on old jobs to [sic] numerous to mention. Recit a letter from Sara, went to the Lodge and initiated [too] my first trial, got along very well.

Blacksmithing again, made nails till Craig came home then worked on wheels and other jobs.  Bullard and I [made] nails in the eve.  Feel rather tired now but [???] shall come out right in the morning.

Went to Sunday school and service.  Mr De Normandee preached in the eve.  We had a service in the grove in the afternoon at five oclock, a good number were present. I wrote a letter home.

Blacksmithing again, set ten tires.  Craig went to Boston that I had the fire in the afternoon. Went in bathing and then played croquet with Olive and then had a sing.

Blacksmithing again set eight tires and fixed up an old wagon.  I bolted and drilled off a set of tires 3/8 thick in 2 hours and ten minutes.  Went down to Jessies and spent the eve.

Blacksmithing again, worked on a buggy running part and a portable top.  Daniels is away down to the beach.  Went down to Jessies and had a game of croquet then had a four hand game of eucher.  Curtis had a explosion today nothing very serious.

Blacksmithing again worked on tired and a thousand and one things. Played croquet with Olive Young in the eve then went in and had a sing.
